Welcome to Da Nang!
Just for some context, my wife (Ann) and I (Tony) have been in Da Nang for about 2.5 years. We've collected this list of local food places we usually go to so we can share with our foreigner friends.
We are both born and raised Vietnamese, so our taste and preferences are mostly Vietnamese/Asian — that's why you won't find pizza or burgers in this list, but I guess it's good to give you a nice list of new things to try!
This list is quite new. We'll come back and update it often.

Cha Ca Lang - Hanoi-style grilled fish with turmeric and dill.

- Cha Ca Lang is a dish originally from Ha Noi city. In Da Nang this is the best Cha Ca Lang place I have found.
- Note: only order the signature dish there: “Cha Ca” and “Long Ca”. Don’t bother to order the other ones they are not good.
- Signature dish: Cha Ca Lang (Grill fish with veggie) and Long Ca (Fish Stomach)
- Capacity: Can go with a large group, up to 15 people.
Si Dining
- Very chill gardern restaurant, low light warm ambient quiet style.
- Good for couple, or group of 5.
- A lot of good starter dishes.
